The Sliders land in a strange psychic-controlled parallel earth. Wade dreams of Derek Bond (not related to James Bond) only to meet him in real life. It turns out he was affecting her dreams. He tries to force her to marry him, as he is obsessed with her. The present Prime Oracle, the top person in this world, attempts to run over Wade. Arturo and Remmie are arrested because some psychic thinks they are going to kill Wade in the future. The problem is that Bond, obsessed with Wade, is going to become Prime Oracle. To me this was an average episode.

Landing in a parallel world with San Francisco overrun by dominant gangster families, the Sliders slide straight into the marriage of two members of the main two families. The Sliders find out that the Prohibition was never repealed here. They are embroiled in a turf war, by ending up in the marriage ceremony, and Rembrandt "Crying Man" Brown of this world is the No 1 director of a corrupt federal organisation! An above average episode.
